In her role as a health producer, Brianna writes articles, helps with social media, and assists senior editors with their daily tasks. She received her master of science degree from Columbia Journalism School, where her thesis focused on young women who are at high risk for breast cancer and their decisions to have preventive mastectomies.

Brianna is excited to work with the fit-blog.ph team, which she first joined in 2018 as an intern, because she believes that everyone should have the tools they need to make informed decisions about their health. Her goal in health journalism is to create resources and increase coverage on all genetic mutations associated with breast and gynecologic cancers.
